The Barnet Wellbeing Service provides access to a wide range of services and activities to help you with your mental health and emotional wellbeing. It is delivered through a variety of wellbeing and mental health providers across Barnet.

How does it work?

The Barnet Wellbeing Service works with you to improve your mental and physical health through a programme of activities and goal setting. The service aims to support you to make positive changes in your life.

We provide a variety of services to help you build resilience and improve your mental health:

By accessing the wellbeing service, you can strengthen your mental health resilience and work towards a positive and active you.

What do we offer?

Befriending

We offer a telephone befriending service for adults 18-55 who may be experiencing isolation or loneliness and we can support those with undiagnosed and diagnosed mental health conditions.

The Barnet Wellbeing Hub serves as the front door of the Barnet Wellbeing Service, connecting residents with services and activities to improve their emotional and mental wellbeing.

Counselling (IAPT)

Community IAPT provides accessible treatment if you are experiencing common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.

Recovery College

Mind in Enfield and Barnet deliver a Recovery College through Barnet and Southgate College. Barnet residents can access up to 12 specialised courses to improve self- management and increase their confidence.

Young Adults

Barnet Young People Thrive offers wellbeing webinars to Middlesex University students and mental health support services to young people aged 16-25 years transitioning to adulthood.

Barnet Wellbeing Service runs quarterly public events that bring together residents, service providers and people with lived experience to share their journeys, explore good practices and new opportunities.

How Do I Access the Barnet Wellbeing Service

The Barnet Wellbeing Service is free. You need to be 16 and over, a resident in Barnet and registered with a Barnet GP to access the service. There are two ways to make a referral to the Wellbeing Hub. Please click on of the buttons below to fill out our online form.

Alternatively, if you'd like to print out a paper version, please click the links below.

Self-referral, please fill in the form here.

Agency or GP referral, please fill in the form here.
