Crisis Telephone Service

Their Crisis Telephone Service are a team of trained mental health advisors and clinicians who provide help or advice in a crisis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Barnet Wellbeing Hub & Partner Opening Hours During the Festive Period

Barnet Wellbeing Hub

The Barnet Wellbeing Hub is a gateway to access community services and activities that can help improve your mental health in Barnet. To refer yourself, simply fill out the online form here.

Please note that the Hub will be closed from December 25th to 1st January and will reopen on 2nd January. Referrals submitted during this period will be processed starting from 2nd January.

Community IAPT with New Citizens Gateway

New Citizens Gateway provide a talking therapy service and group activities, working directly with refugee and asylum seekers whose mental health is impacting their everyday life. Closing from 25th Dec returning on the 2nd January.

Change Live Grow

This service provides free access to recovery-focused drug and alcohol support. Service will continue to operate as usual, except on the following bank holidays: December 25th, December 26th, and January 1st.

Barnet Mencap

Barnet Mencap provides the Autism Service to help identify autism conditions and provide peer support, social groups, workshops, and training for staff. Closing on 22nd December until 2nd January. They’ll be providing support during the holidays but won't be accepting any new referrals.

The Network

Through Barnet Council, this service provides short-term (up to 9 months) support if you are experiencing mental health challenges and want to gain a better understanding in order to move forward in your life. Closed over bank holidays 25th and 26th Dec and 1st January.

Recovery College

Mind in Enfield and Barnet delivers a Recovery College developed through Barnet and Southgate College. You can access up to 12 courses, including Effective Communication, Self-Esteem and more.

AGE UK

Closed on 25th-26th
December. Open from 10 am-2 pm on 27th-29th
December. Normal services from the 2nd January.

Barnet Friends

Barnet Friends is a telephone befriending service for adults aged 18 to 55 who may be experiencing isolation or loneliness.

Contact will continue with current service users during the festive period. No new referrals will be accepted from 25th December to 2nd January. Referral processing will resume on 2nd January.
