Volunteers' Week is a chance for us to recognise the contribution of those who support our community and help individuals overcome barriers to mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
We'd like to thank all our fantastic volunteer befrienders who help deliver Barnet Friends — offering a helping ear to individuals battling loneliness and isolation. If you're interested in joining our amazing team, please join us online at our Volunteer Taster Event on June 15th, where you'll hear from current volunteers and service users.
Also, a thank you to our Primary Care Group for their continued work to ensure the residents of Barnet have improved access to the primary care services available in the borough.
It has been a difficult couple of years, and it's hard to imagine where we'd be without those who sacrifice their time and efforts to help others.
